Looking for a way to completely transform yourself for a few hours this weekend? We found it last night at The Cinema Society & Gucci Guilty sponsored screening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Though this is a little off our regularly-scheduled cinematic activities, we may have been converted into comic nerds by the end of the film. For those unfamiliar, Captain America is the big screen tale of Marvel comic super hero Steve Rogers who nowadays is living in D.C. and trying to adjust to the real world, but you can’t keep a good superhero on the sidelines for long. When a S.H.E.I.L.D. colleague comes under attack, he joins forces with Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, to fight a new enemy, but old pal, the Winter Soldier. There are punches, car chases, nail biting scenes, and even a good moral center to keep viewers soldiering on.
