“It’s just how it should be,” Francisco Costa told us last night at Calvin Klein Collection’s flagship store during their event in honor of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) marriage equality program, Americans for Marriage Equality. “We’re not doing anything spectacular,” the creative director explained about the brand being on the right side of history. Costa was particularly thrilled that (nearly) 90-year-old American artist Ellsworth Kelly was also in attendance. (Kelly has produced a limited quantity colored-blocked dress for the label that was on display at the bash, including on Calvin muse Carolyn Murphy.)

Bravo personality Andy Cohen has been announced as the host of the 2013 CFDA Awards on June 3rd at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. “Andy Cohen is a friend of the fashion industry,” Diane von Furstenberg said in a statement. SNL’s Seth Meyers hosted the show last year. Cohen and his bestie Sarah Jessica Parker have been front row regulars at DvF’s show for years.
