Loewe celebrated the opening of LOEWE Rodeo Drive

Loewe landed on the West Coast’s most luxe shopping street last week in suitable style. The Spanish luxury label’s new Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills boutique is now open and to celebrate, creative director Jonathan Anderson was in town to bring together friends of the brand. Kicking things off, a fashionable crowd joined the Northern Irish designer at the Chateau Marmont for an intimate dinner overlooking the West Hollywood skyline. Guests included Cindy Crawford, Doja Cat, Emma Chamberlain, Kaia Gerber, Luca Guadagnino, Maude Apatow, Murray Bartlett, Pauline Chalamet, Pom Klementieff, Tessa Thompson, and Tracee Ellis Ross. Then, an after party at the legendary Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip kept chicsters out long past their bed time to enjoy drinks, dancing, and a performance by Omar Apollo.

Preview performance and pre-reception party for Some Like It Hot

Here’s one for your culture hit list: a laugh-out-loud Broadway version of iconic ’50s flick, Some Like It Hot. The new stage production had its unveiling with a preview night on Friday, with a special performance and pre-reception at the historic Shubert Penthouse. The new musical comedy features a book by Matthew López and Amber Ruffin, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, and direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw. On the night, they were mostly all in attendance, as well as producers Neil Meron, Dessie Moynihan, and Robert Wankel. An intimate dinner to fête Macrene Actives’ new High Performance Eye Cream

ADDF hosts its first annual House of Purple event

The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) brought out a stylish crowd for its first-ever House of Purple event, hosted at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. On the evening, which was hosted by the ADDF Young Professionals Committee, Gina Holzheimer—vice president at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, co-founder and co-chair of the ADDF Young Professionals Committee, and member of the ADDF Board of Overseers—was honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Award for her advocacy and dedication to the ADDF’s mission of developing drugs to treat, prevent, and cure Alzheimer’s disease. The Outstanding Volunteer Award was presented by Josh Lauder, who founded the Young Professionals Committee along with Ms. Holzheimer, and serves on the ADDF’s Board of Overseers. “My family and I are very passionate about the ADDF, and it is gratifying to see such tremendous progress in the development of diagnostics, prevention strategies, and ultimately drugs and therapies to treat Alzheimer’s. Co-leading the Young Professionals Committee with a wonderful partner like Gina has been incredibly meaningful to me. ‘Tis the season! Wölffer Estate Vineyard’s Joey Wölffer hosted the second annual Night of Lights celebration on Saturday in East Hampton. Before dinner, guests were treated to a preview of the vineyard’s 13th annual Lighting of the Vines, where 15,000 LED lights illuminate the winter vineyard rows. Guests included Roman Roth, Max Rohn, Aweng Chuol, Flaviana Matata, Sally Holmes, Fern Mallis, Kelly Turlington Burns, Brian Burns, Elizabeth Kurpis, John Wattiker, Malcolm Carfrae, and more. Ps. The official lighting happens this Saturday and will benefit The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, with a silent auction of holiday wreaths designed by community artists, designers, and business owners.
