Skype's Video Chat Series Spotlights Fashion Insiders With Louise Roe

by The Daily Front Row

Today Skype launched a group video chat series called “The Spark” spotlighting creative industries and technology as a part of the Skype Collaboration Project. The new series will be providing plenty of fashion related content. How so? Check out this video below of British fashion TV personality and journalist, Louise Roe, as she sits down with fashion director of Esquire UK Katharine Hayward, jewelry designer Pamela Love, Tina Craig of BagSnob.com, and Helena Bordon of the Brazilian high-street fashion chain 284 to discuss how they got their starts in the biz. The latter trio will join in on the conversation via skype from New York, Texas, and Brazil, respectively. The discussion covers everything from a walk down memory lane as unpaid interns and making millions of Xerox copies before the age of digital lookbooks, to the importance of networking. Plus, did you know Pamela Love once made an entire bra, underwear, and boots out of rosary beads for Lady Gaga? “It was a Biblical Go-go girl costume,” says Love. Gotta LOVE that!
