This fashion week, Sergio Hudson marked a powerful milestone, celebrating 10 years of his namesake brand, with an intimate private dinner followed by a high-energy Fashion Week after-party at Lower East Side seafood destination Aquarelle.
The evening began in Aquarelle’s private dining room, where Sergio and his partner Inga Hudson gathered their inner circle for a deeply personal dinner. The evening was graciously hosted by Aquarelle founders Marcus Andrew and Barış Köroğlu (Baris Koroglu), who curated the setting and ensured every detail felt seamless and elevated. The guest list was intentionally intimate: Sergio’s core team, close family members, and longtime collaborators who have helped shape the brand over the past decade.
Even Sergio’s young daughters attended, adding a heartfelt dimension to the milestone. Behind the runway polish and celebrity clientele, the foundation of the brand was fully visible in that room: family, loyalty, and consistency.
Food was served exclusively for the private dinner in the private dining room. Guests began with Aquarelle’s signature seafood towers layered with oysters, lobster, shrimp cocktail, and pristine crudo, refined, celebratory, and distinctly coastal. Champagne flowed as stories were shared and toasts were made to ten years of discipline, growth, and cultural impact.

As the private dinner concluded, the tone gradually evolved. Guests from the show and the fashion industry began to arrive. The lighting shifted and the DJ turned up the volume. Aquarelle transitioned from an intimate dining to a full-blown downtown party. Weis Vinyards Wine and Rosaluna Margaritas became the drinks of the night, ordered steadily at the bar as the dance floor filled.
Models from the runway show arrived still glowing from backstage glam and immediately took over the floor. The same women who had walked earlier in razor-sharp tailoring and sculpted silhouettes now danced freely under low lighting. The energy felt uninhibited and celebratory, a release after months of preparation.
Editors, stylists, longtime friends, and collaborators packed the space. Conversations that began earlier over seafood towers transformed into something kinetic and unforgettable.

The milestone carried extra significance because of what the brand represents in culture. Over the past decade, Sergio Hudson has become synonymous with strong tailoring and modern glamour, dressing some of the most influential women in entertainment and politics, including Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kerry Washington. Ten years in, Sergio Hudson marked the moment exactly as his brand suggests: grounded in family, elevated in execution, and unapologetically powerful.
