Bonjour, Sant Ambroeus! The Manhattan, Hamptons, and Palm Beach culinary destination, which has been a go-to for chicsters in the dining scene for the past 35 years, has headed to Paris for a residency at Colette’s water bar. The partnership marks Colette’s final water bar takeover before the renowned Parisian concept store closes its doors. “As a Parisian, Colette has been a true inspiration for me. 20 years ago as a young man I had a meeting with Colette and Sarah, I remember being honored yet very nervous,” said Alireza Niroomand, creative director of Sant Ambroeus, in a statement. “Even back then I wanted to collaborate with them, but the time wasn’t right. Today my dream finally comes true by bringing together Sant Ambroeus, which is so close to my heart, to one of the most iconic stores in the world!”
The residency coincides with Thom Browne’s takeover at the store, too. Menu offerings will include sandwiches, salads, coffee beverages, and pastries, in addition to the extensive beverage menu from the water bar. “Who does not know Sant Ambroeus in NYC? Alireza is the living persona of Sant Ambroeus just as Marc is from here at water bar, so we are excited to have them work together. This timing to have Sant Ambroeus and the team come during fashion week, and beyond, is very natural for us, and we know everyone will feel right at home,” said Sarah Andelman, co-founder and creative director of Colette in a statement.
The partnership is presented by American Express.
