Saks Potts Is Closing Its Doors Next Year—But Not For The Reason You Think!

Saks Potts, the Copenhagen-based brand beloved for its whimsical outerwear, is closing for good. Today, founders Cathrine Saks and Barbara Potts took to Instagram to share their label’s shuttering in Spring 2025, after 10 years in business. However, their brand isn’t closing due to financial challenges—as several brands have this year. In fact, Saks Potts is a fully financially independent company that’s experienced 25% annual growth every year—and 2024 was its “strongest financial year” to-date, according to their post. Instead, the pair are closing Saks Potts to focus on new projects and ventures as they enter their 30’s. We wish them all the best!
