Ralph Lauren Fall 2017

by The Daily Front Row

Va va va vroom! It was full speed as Ralph Lauren brought his Fall 2017 show to Bedford, New York where Mr. Lauren presented the collection in his garage where he houses his collection of pricey cars (Ferraris, Porches, Bugattis, et. al). The show opened with a slew of Ralph Lauren’s classic suiting—the kind that never goes out of style and was made particularly famous by Diane Keaton, who was perched front row. Ralph Lauren, of course, has built an empire on classics and it’s nice to see these looks are still getting mileage. But times are tough and it’s time to barrel forward and that’s just what Ralph Lauren did.

The second half of the show was devoted to a slew of au courant trends. Leather mini dresses? Check. Slip dresses? Naturally. Shiny trench coats? You bet. Puffer Jackets? But of course. All the requisite looks for Bella and her crew and their legions of followers.
