Public School’s design duo Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne took their fall 2016 men’s show to the city sidewalks this morning, opening the invitation to 50 members of the public who got a first look at the collection outside before the models filed into the runway show inside Milk Studios. The collection featured wide-brimmed hats, skirt and pant combos, and naturally, Air Jordans. The label kept the buzz going by immediately announcing the hiring of its first president, Anthony Landereau. He was previously at Marc Jacobs as VP of global sales for women’s accessories, and before that, Saks Fifth Avenue, Kenzo, and Polo Ralph Lauren. Landereau will assist on the business side while the designers throw their energies into creative, helming their own line and also driving creative direction for DKNY, which they’ll show Wednesday, February 17.
