Her euphoric sound embracing the dark voice of self-reflection with lyrics that can easily be felt at the core of a heart, besides her excellence in trying different sounds and still going ahead and impacting people positively, have all helped her propel forward in the musical realm that is often marked by over saturation and competition. By age 12, this incredible age had already worked with superstars like Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio and Sia, starring in her video for the hit single “Never Give Up.” Her soulful dance in the single brought the song’s message of resilience to life and catapulted her to global stardom.
Prymrr was born in Bakersfield, California, with an insatiable hunger for movement and rhythm. Hence, it was only natural for her to feel inclined toward everything musical, artistic, and creative. Growing up, her passion for music and art only intensified, helping her grow from being a dancer to a recording artist, rapper, and singer. Her incredible talent today has caught the attention of many in the music world, where she also got scouted by several producers and promoters who approached her to open for Nicki Minaj, Future, and Tekashi 69 at a mere 12 years old when she did not even have a solid discography yet. These experiences ignited the fire within her, making her believe in becoming a rapper and recording artist.
In 2018, Prymrr made her debut with her single GAMBLiN,’ which showcased her lyrical prowess and helped her gain significant popularity and recognition. The accompanying music video, set in her hometown and starring her own grandfather, further highlighted her versatility as a singer, rapper, and artist. The authentic lyrics of the single, along with her genuine vocals, resonated with music lovers and listeners, resulting in her growing online popularity. This paved the way for her to release more songs like “Take Over,” “No Label,” “MON$T3R$,” “WYA,” and “Whodie”, each showcasing a different side of Prymrr’s multifaceted talent.
During the pandemic, she built her album, showcasing her art by blending different musical genres in her sound palette of hip-hop, which further changed her life and gave her musical art more direction. From a very young age, this incredible talent began writing lyrics and testing equipment and rap styles at the Boys and Girls Club, Eastside studio. Because she was raised in an artistically inclined family, dancing at the age of two and playing instruments when she was only eight, it was natural for her to choose her path in music.

This motivated her to come up with her single “No Label.” Today, her natural music talents, confidence, and experience in the industry allow her to create refreshing singles with witty wordplays that showcase personality and strong beliefs. Most importantly, her musical craft gives her a reason to be fully herself, and this authenticity has skyrocketed her fan base.
Despite facing numerous challenges on her path, personally, academically, and professionally, she chose to shine her light as a one-of-a-kind musical star. Her resilience in the face of adversity in the music industry has been truly inspiring, and her determination to overcome obstacles is a testament to her strength and character.
