Poppy Delevingne has collaborated with Aquazurra on a capsule collection for resort. The line, which stars Delevingne as the campaign face, is in celebration of the luxe Italian label’s first standalone store outside Italy on London’s chic Albermarle Street. Designer and founder Edgardo Osorio—who joins the model in the campaign wearing a svelte white pinstripe double-breasted suite and clutching her never-ending legs—is certainly in collaboration mode. This latest partnership is hot on the heels (pardon the pun) of the Edgardo Osorio x Salvatore Ferragamo collection (Osorio’s first job in footwear was at the Ferragamo atelier), which tapped into the designer’s Latin roots.
“I’ve always admired Poppy and I love her style: a very English mix of kooky and chic,” said Osorio. “I met her and instantly adored her; she was wearing Aquazzura shoes, so it seemed like a good match. We wanted to capture the tone of her wedding in Morocco—mystical and romantic, but interpreted in a way that felt very charming and English.” The collection, which ranges in price from $595 to $1,450, features chic suede ankle boots, jeweled flat sandals with celestial symbols, exotic espadrilles, and lace-up heeled sandals in cashmere-suede and precious metallics.
