Pierpaolo Piccioli Heads to the Met (The Met)
Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli will be the next guest in The Met’s talk series, “The Atelier with Alina Cho.” Piccioli will presumably be discussing all aspects of his career, from his time at Fendi, to taking on Valentino on his own after the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri, to collaborating with Moncler. The talk will take place May 21. Tickets are available now.

Buffalo Zine Pays Homage to Other Magazines, and Editors Love It (Buffalo Zine/Dazed)
Between Diet Prada and the Met’s upcoming Notes on Camp, copying and paying homage is on everyone’s mind these days. Cult fashion magazine Buffalo Zine is leaning in to the zeitgeist, releasing 10 new covers in the style of its contemporaries. The publication copied the logos and design style of i-D, Dazed, The Gentlewoman, and more. The best part? The Buffalo team has been getting a lot of love from each of the magazines they homaged.

A Model Died on the Runway in Brazil (Harper’s Bazaar UK)
26-year-old Tale Soares collapsed on the runway at a fashion show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week. It was initially thought that he tripped over the straps of his shoes, or that the fall was part of the show. Those in attendance reported seeing him foaming at the mouth. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. “We’re sorry for their loss and send our deepest condolences to Tales’ family,” read a statement from the show’s organizers.

Ermenegildo Zegna Opens a New Global Store in NYC
Last week some of the most stylish men in New York came out to celebrate Ermenegildo Zegna’s new global store. Guests like Alec Baldwin, Thom Browne, Stan Smith, and Young Paris, among others, were treated to a custom menu by chef Mario Carbone, and specialty cocktails by Ferrari Spumante. They also got a new look at the Taccuino capsule, available exclusively in New York.
