Lyndie Benson, founder of Bleusalt, launched the Malibu-inspired women’s and men’s lifestyle brand in October 2017. She and the former Grey’s Anatomy actor transitioned from friends and neighbors to business partners when Dempsey, who instantly fell for Bleusalt’s comfortable yet elevated style, approached her in hopes of joining forces. Malibu inspired the pair, who decided to name the six pieces after Malibu landmarks – The Tide Trouser, The Point Polo, The Big Rock Blazer, The Trancas Trouser, The Colony Cap, and The Big Rock Blazer.
