(NEW YORK) Nina Ricci is adding a duo of new hires with impressive resumes to the design team. Iliana Giannakoura has been tapped as chief ready-to-wear designer; she will work under creative director Peter Copping. Giannakoura comes from Céline, where she was senior ready-to-wear designer, and she’s also worked for Givenchy and Balenciaga. She is expected to start her new role later this month.

Sophie Templier will be joining Nina Ricci as accessories director, which is a new post at the label. Templier was previously executive vice president of product and merchandising at Sonia Rykiel. Templier also did a stint at Chloé, in the capacities of deputy general manager and marketing and development director. She has also held positions at Lagerfeld and Christian Dior couture. At Chloé, Templier worked with Ralph Toledano, who is now the president of Puig Group, which owns Nina Ricci. Templier will begin her new role in May.
