Natalie Joos to Debut Photo Book

by Sydney Sadick

Fashion consultant and street style star Natalie Joos is coming out with her very own art tome. Tales of Endearment: Modern Vintage Lovers and Their Extraordinary Wardrobes, set to release in November 2017 under powerHouse Books, is a spinoff of her blog Tales of Endearment, featuring a collection of photos and stories centering on today’s vintage clothing scene. Joos, a vintage connoisseur, chose a range of vintage historians, collectors, sellers, enthusiasts, and aficionados for the book, and she photographed them at their homes or in other inspiring locations while wearing their favorite pieces.

In February 2017, Joos announced that she would start designing her own line of clothes: a see-now-buy-now line of knitwear dubbed JoosTricot in three styles—turtleneck, long-sleeved crewneck, and short-sleeved crewneck—in a range of color options.  “I can see girls like Alexa Chung and Tracee Ellis Ross wearing these,” Joos told Vogue. “But is it bad to say I’m my own muse? I really made the sweaters to satisfy a personal need first.” On her most recent blog post, Joos writes about why she likes her own sweaters and shows how to style them, marking their official debut in stores this season, including Barneys New York.
