by The Daily Front Row

She’s worked alongside Glenda Bailey for more than a decade, and got her start working with Liz Tilberis. Now, Nicole Fritton is taking on the role of fashion director at Harper’s Bazaar. She writes in!

First things first: where are you now?
I’m currently in Milan [for fashion week] and off to Paris on Monday!

Let’s go back to Day One. Where did you get your start in fashion?
I was lucky enough to get my start in fashion in the Bazaar fashion department during the Liz Tilberis years.

Who were your style icons when you were growing up?
My mom and Kate Moss.

From what you’ve seen at the shows thus far, what are you lusting after?
The Prada collection—the show was so inspiring!

One of your favorite moments of your career thus far?
One of my most memorable moments was the first Bazaar photo shoot I went on. Paul Cavaco was styling the September cover shoot of Nadia Auermann with Patrick Demarchelier. I fell in love with fashion on set that day.
