Miu Miu Fall 2015

Miu Miu’s Fall collection was replete with glossy skins, plenty of colorful leopard, and tons of herringbone, like a trove of vintage finds, giving the style set much more to talk about than front rower Renee Zellweger’s exhaustively-discussed face. Oversized costume jewelry was also in the mix, as were bright pastel patent leather shoes, some with a multitude of straps, others with big buckles. At times the vintage theme was a bit excessive, like a green and yellow jumper with big, white buttons or the prim shirtdress with a horizontal stripe detail and a neck ruffle. But the outerwear here was key: all of the bright wool options featuring a snakeskin detail or even a full-on snakeskin look. Also attention grabbing? Those shiny croc shift dresses and mini skirts in punchy shades of orange, yellow, and red.
