Michael Kors Wants to End Global Hunger

by Sydney Sadick

In case you haven’t heard, today’s World Food Day, and Michael Kors is on the hunt to end global hunger. The designer has debuted a new Watch Hunger Stop t-shirt designed by Insta-famous artist Clym Everden in honor of the day—Kors encourages shoppers to take a selfie in the shirt and tag your post on Instagram with #WatchHungerStop. For every post tagged, Kors will donate 50 meals to the United Nations World Food Programme, which is in its 5th year. One star who’s supporting the movement is Kate Hudson, who wore the shirt in a recent trip to Cambodia (see picture below). The t-shirt is being given away for free at select Michael Kors stores around the world, and the artist will be at the Soho location today from 12-2pm, where you can see him drawing live on the windows. The initiative raises funds and awareness to help achieve food security and improved nutrition for the one in nine people worldwide who still do not have enough to eat.
