(NEW YORK) The Crosby Street Hotel welcomed revelers with a bevy of cocktails prior to the premiere of Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy’s new thriller flick, The Counselor. Hosted by Emporio Armani along with GQ and The Cinema Society, the hosts made sure attendees were perfectly hydrated before seating guests. The film stars Michael Fassbender as a naughty lawyer who delves into the underground world of drug trafficking. He shares the silver screen with Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt. What was Fassbender’s favorite part about the film? His costars. “All of these guys were at the top of their game, everyday!” said Fassbender.
In addition to John Leguizamo and Rosie Perez enjoying movie night, they were joined by Julianna Margulies, Keith Lieberthal, Julian Schnabel, Chris Noth, Nicky Hilton, Jemima Kirke, and Casey LaBow. Who wowed on the red carpet? Fashion faves of the night were Carla Gugino, who wore a forest green fitted dress and Fassbender, who looked relaxed wearing dark jeans, a blazer, and an unbuttoned top. Leguizamo decided to dress down however, sporting a red monochrome outfit with Adidas track pants and a coordinating t-shirt. That’s one way to stand out!
