(NEW YORK) London-based luxury retailer and e-tailer Matches will be highlighting vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pieces that will be for sale in the retailer’s Maryleborne shop and online at MatchesFashion.com. The pieces have been made available thanks to Cameron Silver of L.A.’s famous vintage shop Decades. The 85-piece collection comes from Silver’s archive, which includes Gaultier’s iconic corsets made famous by Madonna to an ’80s men’s motorcycle jacket or a sequined women’s pullover.
The pieces range from the ’80s to the present and retail from $310 to $5,900. But what will really draw in Gaultier lovers is that the collection includes never produced pieces from the runway. Snatch up these collectible pieces when the collection debuts at Matches on April 9th just ahead of Gaultier’s retrospective, which opens on the same day at the Barbican museum in London.
