Everyone’s talking about Margaret Cho post-Golden Globes after her North Korean character sketch with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Now the comedienne is designing clothing, apparently. And why not? Ellen DeGeneres already has a full clothing and lifestyle brand called E.D. in the works with Chris Burch (Sarah Silverman, are you next? A chic line of hoodies, perhaps?). Cho cut her design chops with Betabrand, a crowdfunding clothing brand, by creating what she’s dubbed “The Solitaire”. Cho’s jumpsuit is meant to be a carryall, so throw out your bags! “I created the Solitaire because I wanted the perfect outfit,” said Cho in a press statement. “I wanted something that could carry all my essentials: my credit card, ID, lipstick, keys, and smartphone. I want to walk the earth freely without handbag or anything else to hold me back from my journey, my destiny.” Other items sold by Betabrand include a poo Emoji button-up shirt, dress pant sweatpants, and meat feet socks made to look like mortadella, soppressata, and prosciutto. Just FYI.
