Louis Vuitton kicked off the debut of its new Place Vendôme Paris flagship with a star-studded bash last night, bringing out the likes of Cate Blanchett (who posed with Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière), Michelle Williams, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Connelly, and Alicia Vikander, to name a few. The evening began with a cocktail party and ended with an after-party featuring performances from Jaden Smith and his dad Will Smith. The 19-year-old opened for his father and donned head-to-toe Louis Vuitton for the fête, showing off his risk-taking personal style.
As for the low-down on the new digs? Legendary architect Peter Marino spearheaded the newly designed and re-instated location, which marks a return for the French fashion house. The brand opened its very first store at that very location over 160 years ago—some things really do come full circle! Starting October 4, shoppers can browse Vuitton’s selection of travel goods, fashion, jewelry, watches, fragrances, accessories, and more. See you in Paris!
