Lily Aldridge, Hilary Rhoda, and Joan Smalls Chime In On The Mall

by The Daily Front Row

We’re not sure if Victoria’s Secret is located in every mall in America, but it sure seems like it. Backstage at the VS show earlier this week, we asked Lily Aldridge, Hilary Rhoda, and Joan Smalls to take us back to their days hanging at the mall. Ah, suburban memories…

Hilary Rhoda: “Montgomery mall in Bethesda, Maryland was my mall. It was the place to go! We’d go after school and go to the Eatery and eat at Panda Express. We’d shop at Abercrombie…and obviously Victoria’s Secret. Obviously.”

Joan Smalls: “Too bad they didn’t have a Victoria’s Secret in the mall where I grew up in, in Puerto Rico.  But the mall is a fun place. It’s an excuse for a girl’s day, to coordinate your outfits and everything. In the food court, that Chinese bourbon chicken is my favorite. It’s so tasty.”

Lily Aldridge: “I grew up in the Valley, and we’d go to Fashion Square Mall. It was such a big part of what we’d do after school. I loooove the mall! I’d order Panda Express orange chicken and chow mein at the food court.”
