Model, illustrator, and artist Langley Fox collaborated with Tumi for its Spring/Summer 2016 collection, creating an exclusive tote bag featuring a portrait pencil drawing that mimics a passport photo. It takes inspiration from Fox’s photographs of friends and travel over the years. “I wanted the collection to give off a vibe of escaping to a far-off destination,” said Fox. “We can all take a cool photo and try to manipulate it through some app and make it look awesome, but we can’t all draw something.”

The tote is an updated silhouette for the brand, and features an attached interior removable pouch (for your passport!) and a leather encasement for a pen (to fill out those pesky customs forms). “Tumi’s Langley Tote was designed for the next generation of Tumi users, for the girl on the go who’s not overly polished but ambitiously chic in her daily travels,” said creative director Michael Petry. Fox and Petry met through mutual friends before the idea for a collaboration began to unfold. “Michael wanted something cool, something that the Tumi customer has never seen before…and I thought…Why not create a United States of Tumi?”

The Tumi Langley Tote will retail for $595 and is available in select Tumi retail locations and online. Tumi also tapped Fox to be part of its 2016 Global Citizen campaign starting today.
