Karaoke on a Monday night? That’s something to sing about. The Kiehl’s gang celebrated the opening of their gorgeous new store in Hell’s Kitchen with a karaoke party last night that brought out the singing voices of Alan Cumming, Lea DeLaria, Sandra Bernhard—and even The Wall Street Journal‘s Marshall Heyman, who knocked out a Mariah Carey number. The location on Ninth Avenue and West 47th Street includes a barber shop and your beloved Kiehl’s products, including a partnership with Ruffian to create a limited-edition Dopp kit. The travel-ready set includes a silk moiré tie created by the designers, plus three Kiehl’s products ideal for your next private plane trip including the “In-Flight” refreshing facial mist, “First Class” purifying hand treatment, and eucalyptus lip relief. Squeezing into the new quarters were Billy Porter, Carol Hamilton, Jeffrey Costello, Robert Tagliapietra, Ladyfag, Ruffian’s Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, and Kiehl’s Chris Salgardo and Rachael Kelley. The company made a donation to The Ali Forney Center in the form of a $10,000 check. Hell, yeah.
