Wake up and smell the roses! That could mean a lot of things in 2017, but at Kate Spade the florals here were meant to have a cheeky folkloric reference. For Spring 2017, the Kate Spade New York girl was caught up in the desert landscapes of Morocco, but for Fall 2017 a different continent was calling. Held at the iconic Russian Tea Room, which was transformed to resemble a four-story home, the clothes referenced all things à la vielle russie from the embroideries on a cape to the pops of Russian red punctuated with modern bursts of pink and leopard.
The highlights? A leopard bomber paired with a forest green leather skirt, a rose pajama set styled with a leopard tie neck blouse, the red overcoat worn with oversize leopard sunglasses, and a fun pink puffer with a ruffle-trimmed collar. A perfect dose of classic meets quirky chic.
