E!’s obnoxious mani-cam comes closer to its inevitable death as one more actress reveals she doesn’t dig it. Recent Oscar winner Julianne Moore tells Harper’s Bazaar: “I’m 54 years old. I can’t make my fingers walk; it’s humiliating! And a guy asked me to lift up my skirt to show them my shoes, and I said, ‘I don’t need to do that. Let’s keep some dignity.’” Holla! Moore (along with Jennifer Aniston) refused to show her mani to the cam at the Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier this year. (The mani-cam was also taken off the red carpet at the Oscars this year for the first time since 2012.)
Moore’s appearance on the cover of Bazaar‘s April issue, shot by Camilla Akrans, celebrates their annual ‘Fabulous At Every Age” issue, which gets some major font size on the cover. Inside she talks about her own personal style in the issue saying, “My style has gotten better, hopefully. It’s like everything—practice makes perfect. There was one year when my kids were little, and every time I was photographed, I was wearing a pair of cargo shorts, a T-shirt, and a bandanna. It was so bad, my publicist was like, ‘Get it together!’”
The new issue of Harper’s Bazaar hits stands on March 24th. You can read the full interview HERE.
