Jane Birkin Is Coming to Carnegie Hall

by Eddie Roche

It’s not every day that a fashion legend comes to Carnegie Hall—Jane Birkin is set to perform Birkin/Gainsbourg: Le symphonique at the venue on February 1, 2018. The show is a tribute to her late husband Serge Gainsbourg. The couple were together for 12 years, during which time their daughter, actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, was born. It also marks Birkin’s first performance in the U.S. since 2011. She’ll perform with a symphonic orchestra at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
