Snapchat channel Sweet, a Snapchat/Hearst partnership, has named former Condé Nast Entertainment exec Ross Clark as VP and general manager. Most recently, Clark served as the senior director of business development strategy at CNÉ, where he was involved in the company’s acquisition of Pitchfork Media and an events collaboration with Snapchat’s Our Story platform. At Sweet, he’ll work with the editorial team to run the day-to-day operations, plus lead long-term strategy, business development, product distribution, revenue, and marketplace positioning. He’ll report to Troy Young, president of Hearst Magazines Digital Media.
