Haider Ackermann Out At Berluti (WWD)
After just three seasons with the brand, Haider Ackermann is exiting Berluti. “Haider has been at the core of the evolution of Berluti’s collections and image these past few seasons. I want to thank him for everything he has accomplished since his arrival,” Berluti ceo Antoine Arnault said of Ackermann’s departure. The move marks the latest installment in what’s become a game of musical chairs amongst men’s wear designers within parent company LVMH’s stable. Ackermann’s successor has yet to be be named but judging from the reshuffle, Kris Van Assche is a safe bet. LVMH said earlier this month that Van Assche would helm another brand within their group, but did not provide specifics at the time.

Erdem Launches Capsule For 24 Sèvres
Erdem Moralioglu unveiled his exclusive capsule collection for the LVMH-owned e-tailer 24 Sèvres on Thursdau. The nine-piece assortment of ready-to-wear and accessories is inspired by British ballerina Margot Fontegyn, which comes as no surprise since the designer is currently costuming the Royal Ballet. “The spirit of the spring-summer 2018 capsule collection combined with the movement of my work with the Royal Ballet creates a modern and playful collection. The movement in the pieces brings a really relaxed elegance which, to me, works perfectly for Parisian summer nights,” Moralioglu said in a statement. That translates to frothy floral print dresses, highly ornate earrings and a smattering of denim pieces.
