Tory Burch enlisted over 30 major faces to get behind her International Women’s Day #EmbraceAmbition campaign, created by the Tory Burch Foundation. Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianne Moore, Kerry Washington, Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, Anna Wintour, Billie Jean King, Gabby Douglas, Laila Alli, Eric Schmidt, Sheryl Sandberg, Anne Finucane, Melinda Gates, Stefano Tonchi, and more speak out against the double standard that pervades entertainment, fashion, business, sports, media, and beyond.
The campaign is inspired by Burch’s personal experiences as a woman and entrepreneur. “International Women’s Day celebrates women with a focus on accelerating gender equality,” the designer told The Daily. “I can’t think of a more fitting day to launch our campaign, which aims to address the harmful double standard that exists around ambition. If women are truly to achieve parity in the workplace, we have to own our bold ideas, celebrate our aspirations and embrace ambition.”
As for how she selected who to feature in the PSA? “We approached many different women and men we admire—diverse and ambitious people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. The response was extraordinary.” Truly—just check out the gallery below. Watch the video and pledge to #EmbraceAmbition by uploading your photo HERE.

Right. Paltrow’s godfather is Steven Spielberg; she gets into the business through him, in Hook, with no resume, after one semester at UC Santa Barbara. Ambition. Uh-huh.
