Gucci Cruises Stateside, Supreme Tops Searches for Fakes

Gucci Cruises to America (British Vogue)
Another day, another Cruise 2021 show location announcement. Gucci has revealed it will present its collection in the U.S. on May 21. However a specific location in the city has yet to be announced. The Resort 2021 season appears to be more scattered than ever, with Chanel showing in Capri, Prada showing in Japan, and Max Mara showing in Russia. Dior and Louis Vuitton — which also usually present abroad — have yet to announce their locations.

Supreme Is the Most-Searched for Fakes (WWD)
According to marketing firm SEMrush, Supreme leads search results for “fakes” both in the U.S. and globally. A spokesperson for the firm tells WWD that the data makes it clear “there’s a heavy interest for the cheaper alternative.” Rounding out the top-five searched brands for fakes in the U.S. were Ray Ban, Vans, Oakley, and Patek Philippe.

Telfar Clemens will make his Pitti Uomo debut in January 2020. The designer is the latest guest in the Florentine trade show’s special project series. “We are honored to be invited to show, where the deep sense of history and continuity sets the scene perfectly for something entirely new,” he said in a statement.
