Gucci debuted its much-anticipated Cruise 2017 collection at Westminster Abbey in England, and Alessandro Michele gave the collection the royal treatment. The whopping 96 looks were as whimsical and free-spirited as ever…a cow print here, a feline in flames there, and a whole lot of color.
The show was followed by a star-studded party at 106 Picadilly, hosted by Michele and Gucci’s president and CEO Marco Bizzarri, and the guest list was as eclectic as the collection itself. Francois-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek Pinault, Georgia May Jagger, Charlotte Casiraghi, A$AP Rocky, Elisabeth Von Thurn und Taxis, Jay Jopling, Elle Fanning, Alexa Chung, Erin O’Connor, Will.i.am, and more partied to the music of not one but six DJs including Faris Badwan, Steve Mackey and Jarvis Cocker, and Andrew Weatherall, and DJ collective Wolf and Lamb. The finale? A live performance by Annie Lennox.
