Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Launches Limited-Edition Collection for 10th Anniversary of Its First Sneaker Launch

by Paige Reddinger

Francesca and Alessandro Gallo had a unique concept when they first launched Golden Goose Deluxe Brand shoes in 2007 with a pair of dirty looking sneakers inspired by their travels and vintage finds. Somehow the duo struck a chord selling, against all odds, pre-soiled (or “lived-in” as the brand would say) sneakers between $300 and $400. Ten years later and the brand is fully on the map as a hip label that continues to expand beyond its cultish fashion insider following.

To celebrate a decade since their first sneaker launch, GGDB has launched the Tenth Anniversary Superstar—a limited-edition collection of 1,000 pieces inspired by the “skateboard universe”. Beyond a new iteration of their prized sneakers, the brand will be selling an ultra-cool golden anorak, t-shirts, sweatshirts, bombers, and jackets all touting GGDB’s streetwear aesthetic. The brand has partnered with High Snobiety on the launch globally and the collection will be available exclusively in GGDB flagships and online at goldengoosedeluxebrand.com.
