Gigi Hadid was at peak adorable last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where she announced her latest design collaboration. After her successful partnership with Tommy Hilfiger, Hadid was enlisted by iconic toy store FAO Schwarz to design the updated toy soldier uniforms for their upcoming Rockefeller Center store, which opens on November 16th in New York. The IMG model also revealed the new uniforms will welcome one major and overdue addition. “The soldiers standing outside of FAO Schwarz will be my design and what I’m really excited about is they’ll be female soldiers for the first time,” Hadid told Fallon. Hadid enthusiasts will recall she co-designed a boot for Stuart Weitzman, launched a collection with Messika Jewelry, and also has a line with Vogue Eyewear.
Fallon and Hadid also talked about their common love of hamburgers. “Every time I have a burger I think about you,” she told the late night host. Hadid brought along her current burger of choice from West Village haute spot 4 Charles Rib. Incidentally this is the same supper club Michael Kors touted last week during his 73 Questions segment with Vogue. Good luck with getting in now.
