Supermod sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid are kicking off the week strong with major news. Gigi landed her first Allure cover, fronting the December issue and following in the footsteps of her younger sis Bella, who fronted the glossy’s 25th anniversary issue last March. She took to Instagram today to express her thanks: “To @ninjarosworld: since my first casting at Allure as a 17 year old, you have shown me such genuine warmth..I will never forget that. Thank you & @heymichellelee for this opportunity. All my love to you & the whole team behind this cover !!!!!” Another key player on the team? Patrick Demarchelier, who lensed the in-demand mod. Inside, Gigi poses nude on a horse, a nod to her equestrian days, and she gives the scoop on her boyfriend Zayn Malik, modeling, her mom Yolanda Foster’s fight with Lyme disease, and more. As for Bella, she’s joining a new family—the Nike family, that is, which consists of Olympic athletes like Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Alex Morgan, and Allyson Felix. Hadid also shared her big news on Instagram this afternoon, posting a picture of herself in Times Square looking up at a Nike billboard with her face on it. “So excited to announce that I am OFFICIALLY PART OF THE @NIKE FAMILY! More coming very soon!” Bella wrote in the caption. The gig marks the mod’s first time fronting a fitness brand, an impressive add-on to her resume that already consists of giants like Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret. Like Gigi, who has already fronted a campaign for Reebok, Bella is a natural athlete–in fact, she’s a nationally-ranked, award-winning horesback rider who even had her eyes on the Olympics at one point. #NBD
