Karl Lagerfeld‘s take on Fendi this season focused on Italian Futurism along with ’30s and ’40s silhouettes done in stripes and deep v’s all mostly forming triangular patterns. It was sharp, sleek, and sexy but perhaps most importantly, these days anyway, it was cool. Aside from the obviously fabulous leathers and mix of stripes and checks, furs this season came decked out in the Fendi logo (very Dapper Dan) or as off-the-shoulder dresses for the world’s deepest pockets. Other fun takeaways will be the check thigh-high tights worn under sheer striped chiffon dresses or paired with a matching pencil dress. To top it all off, models sported cropped blue ‘dos that formed a triangular point over one eye that made for the hair moment of the season. Fierce.
