Former Vogue fashion news editor Emily Holt is the first to join Fab.com‘s Creative Director in Residence program. The new initiative ensures the site stays fresh, bringing on a new creative director periodically—from the media, fashion, music, beauty, and photography worlds—to curate the product, style, content, and tone of the website as well as build tastemaker and brand partnerships.
“Emily is passionate about beautiful and meaningful products and the stories behind them,” said Liam Casey, founder and CEO of PCH, which recently acquired Fab.com. “Fab is about engaging and inspiring people with the products they love, and delivering a wonderful customer experience. We know that Emily will bring a fresh approach and a sophisticated yet experimental and vibrant style to Fab.”
Prior to working at Vogue for four years as the fashion news editor, Holt edited the society, celebrity, and culture pages of WWD and W. She’s been published in The Wall Street Journal and WSJ., Elle, Yahoo, Glamour, Bon Appétit, Cherry Bombe, and C Magazine. Holt currently resides in San Francisco and is pursuing a retail initiative called Hero Shop, a boutique which will feature a mix of established designers and West Coast brands.
