Emilio Pucci Launches “Cities of the World” Scarf Collection

by Paige Reddinger

In an homage to Emilio Pucci’s iconic Battistero scarf, which was created in 1957 as a love letter to Florence by Marquise Emilio Pucci, the brand is launching a new collection of scarves dedicated to cities around the world. Pucci was from one of Florence’s most noble families and spent most of his life in the city’s Pucci palace. Now Rome, Paris, Milan, London, New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ginza, and, of course, Florence will all be celebrated on Pucci’s colorful silky squares. Each scarf is a hand-drawn print that will feature a scene from each city. A limited-edition collector’s set of scarves will be available starting November 1st with each individual scarf available for purchase starting November 15th. These will make for the chicest of stocking stuffers, non? Now, if only they came with plane tickets…
