Ellery Spring 2016

by Paige Reddinger

Kym Ellery already has a following including It girls and street style stars, and her pieces are carried at top luxury retailers like Net-a-Porter, but this was Ellery’s first-ever show in Paris. The brand is known for its big volumes, bell sleeves, and bell pants, which make great statement pieces for its Instagram-happy clientele. But this season Ellery took it to another level.

The pieces were reigned in, with toned down versions of bell sleeves that were tied at the elbows or as separate accessory pieces worn with an ivory off-the-shoulder dress that was simple and clean and scooped at the neck in just the right way (it’s a dress every girl needs in her closet). The big belled pants looked cool when paired with a white cropped dress shirt. A black leather coat cinched at the waist had the perfect proportions, and a long black coat with embellishments was a great statement piece without being over the top. This time around, Ellery looks poised to target a new, broader set of chic clientele, and she will with this collection.

Hello,
I love the look of this designer. The white dress at the top of the page is incredible. What designer do you tend to wear the most?
Thank you and have a great day.
