Last night, Sundance Selects, Dior Beauty, and The Cinema Society hosted a soirée on the top of the new Archer Hotel on their swanky Spyglass Rooftop for the NYFF premiere of Two Days, One Night. The low-key affair brought out the film’s star, Marion Cotillard, who was decked out in a summer-extending head-to-toe Dior ensemble, fresh off the Spring ’15 runway. The event also included appearances by acclaimed directors Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne, Darren Aronofsky, Debra Winger, Bruce Weber and Nan Bush, John Cameron Mitchell, Stella Schnabel, Kane Manera, and…Don Johnson!!! Yup, the Miami Vice star turned heads and caused nostalgic hearts to flutter when he entered the room in a pair of jeans as guests downed cocktails provided by Belvedere. Major sighting! Turns out that Sonny Crockett and Edith Piaf are actually friends in “real” life. Who knew? Two Days, One Night opens in theaters on December 24th and there’s (obviously) Oscar buzz for Cotillard.
