DKNY Spring/Summer 2017

by The Daily Front Row

Looking fresh in the hood! Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne truly understand the New York City woman, and it showed in this collection chock-full of practical but cool pavement-
pounding numbers. Jumpsuits to live in, oversize fanny packs to carry all the essentials, standout anoraks, comfy sweaterdresses. And to complete the look? Platform sneakers for running around the city. The white pinstripes on black suiting extended beyond the hems as tassels reminiscent of Jewish tzitzis, seen around many a New York nabe. If G-III Apparel Group, DKNY’s new owner, lets Chow and Osborne continue to create collections like this, then they should reap the benefits.
