Dior’s Accessories Will Have You Dancing in the Streets

For Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior Spring 2019 was all about ballerinas. Ever one to conquer an idea in extreme detail, this meant that all of her tulle confections and layered tops were outfitted with accessories that were thematically appropriate. It’s a head to toe aesthetic!

Starting from the top, all the models were rocking faux pixie cuts, and had their hair held back by ribbon bands, or knitted caps:

Chokers have been an important accessory since Chirui took over the house, and they made an appearance again:

Finally, the shoes! Though there were ballet flats, Chiuri got inventive when it came to crafting dance-inspired heels. Tapping in to the athleticism of the medium, she also included some sneakers:
