Dion Lee Spring/Summer 2018

by The Daily Front Row

Dion Lee’s Spring collection was a study on the dichotomy of his life as a Sydney native turned New York transplant. The result? Tailored blazers came as one-shouldered tunics thrown over a pair of ‘90s-era black biker shorts. A chic white evening coat and matching dress were crafted to mimic the style of a denim jacket and knits so soft they looked like terrycloth towels were made from a paper fiber. And naturally, there was a scuba romper but it was topped off with a city slicker caped raincoat. To round it out, Lee closed the show with some stellar bias cut dresses in navy pleating that set our hearts beating.
