Another fall campaign has been released: Diesel Black Gold. The four-shot spread was photographed in Paris by Karim Sadli, and showcases the designs of creative director Andreas Melbostad, with makeup by Christelle Cocquet and hair by Damien Boissinot.
Models Mica Arganaraz (who also stars in Alexander McQueen’s new campaign) and Louie Johnson front the ads wearing iconic pieces from the fall collection, including the brand’s signature hybrid outwear. Think: biker capes, leather and quilted nylon, and a utility parka.
“I think this advertising campaign perfectly embodies the spirit of Diesel Black Gold,” said Melbostad. “Mica and Louie, through the lens of Karim, convey a strong yet understated message of individuality and confidence.”
The brand started showing womenswear collections at Milan Women’s Fashion Week in February following years of showing at New York Fashion Week (since 2008). The Diesel Black Gold collections are available in approximately 200 stores worldwide.
