For the third consecutive season, Equipment has tapped Daria Werbowy to photograph the brand’s advertising campaign. For Fall ’16, she focuses her lens on her longtime friend Kate Moss, who also took on the creative direction of the shoot and designed a capsule collection for the brand. Photographed in black and white at Moss’ country home in the Cotswolds, the supermodel appears alongside her friends Susie Bick, wife of musician and artist Nick Cave, and Ella Richards, the granddaughter of Keith Richards. “We loved having Kate so hands on during all parts of the process, every step of the way,” says Jack Schwefel, CEO of Equipment. “The synergy is effortless as she’s been building a relationship with our brand for years and we look forward to expanding the relationship for many more.”
Moss’ capsule collection, which bows today on Net-A-Porter and equipmentfr.com, includes button-downs, tie-neck shirts, a tailored blazer, a military jacket, cropped sweaters, and black 5-pocket pants. The color palette of red, black, white, and grey is accented with leopard prints and Moss’ handwritten “KM” signature, rendered in embroidery. On Wednesday night, Moss, Net-A-Porter, and Equipment will toast the collaboration with a party at the Chiltern Firehouse in London.
