While the sky-high Louboutins may have put the mods on the Cushnie et Ochs runway (the casting included Crystal Renn and Devon Windsor) into another stratosphere, a view of the world from a far-up vantage point is exactly where Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs found their inspiration. They viewed various images of the world from Google Earth photography, which translated into textures throughout the collection. That meant luscious fur, sporty honeycomb mesh fabrics, and intricate paneling. The brand’s signature sex appeal was present in low-cut jumpsuits, super short hemlines and minuscule crop tops. As for the hue of the season? That would be emerald. Take note.
