Coach Debuts Its Holiday 2018 Campaign Featuring Selena Gomez
“I’m Selena Gomez and I’m auditioning for the Coach holiday window display,” say Coach campaign star Gomez. Not that she would actually need to audition for the brand, but it is a cute concept for the holiday 2018 campaign video, “Lights, Camera, Holiday.” It’s a pretty adorable short (with animals!) and certainly among the most memorable ads in recent years. Milk Makeup Teams Up With Wu-Tang Clan on Luxury Lipstick (Milk Makeup)
In news that is completely unexpected, but really, really cool, Wu-Tang clan has teamed up with Milk Makeup on a line of lipsticks. The collection, which is available now, features eight shades (retailing for $55) in packaging that features a sculpted gold dragon. Also available are a a 24-karat gold mirror and a pin set. Gigi Hadid and Neil Patrick Harris Fete Eva Chen’s New Book
Last night Gigi Hadid, Neil Patrick Harris, David Brutka, Martha Hunt, and more came out to fête the release of Eva Chen’s debut children’s book, Juno Valentine and the Magical Shoes. A corresponding childrenswear capsule collection by Janie and Jack will be available online and in Janie and Jack stores, as well as Saks Fifth Avenue stores as of November 5. Meanwhile the book will be available at Saks stores and online November 6.
The Cinema Society and Celebrity Guests Celebrate The Price of Free
Last night The Cinema Society hosted a screening of YouTube Originals & Participant Media’s The Price of Free. The film, which won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, was also celebrated with an afterparty on The Roof of the Viceroy. Attendees included Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, director Derek Doneen, Rachel Roy, Derek Blasberg, Edie Falco, Gina Gershon, Tatiana Maslany, and more.
