Chloë Sevigny Stars In An Exclusive Editorial Shoot for Jimmy Choo

by Paige Reddinger

Chloë Sevigny stars in an exclusive editorial shoot for Jimmy Choo. Apart from her cooler than thou cultural icon status and Hollywood acting chops, Sevigny is also known for her immaculate set of gams, so it’s no wonder Jimmy Choo tapped her to show off its Spring/Summer 2016 collection. On top of everything, Sevigny also has a keen eye for fashion, and the brand is featuring her favorite selects from its latest collection online. But what’s key is how she styles them. We want everything she’s wearing…head to toe.

“Chloë reflects the edgier more daring side of the Jimmy Choo woman,” said creative director Sandra Choi. “I love the fact that she’s a bit unexpected and has such a unique and creative aesthetic making our collection work with her style. The shoot embodies the spirit of the Spring Summer collection, laid back glamour against a sultry, sun bleached backdrop of palm shadows and pastel shades. You can almost feel the sun on your skin.” The collection’s balmy flair worked perfectly in the Florida Keys where Sevigny was on set filming the second season of the Netflix drama, Bloodline. Sevigny also sat down for an interview with the brand to discuss road trips, her style, influences, and her favorite pair of Choos, of course! See below for a few excerpts.

Favorite Jimmy Choo style from the Jimmy Choo shoot? Why do you like it and where would you wear it?
I loved the white LUC pump with the ankle strap and the red vinyl at the toe cleavage. These shoes would be great with jeans or a sexy dress. They reminded me of white pumps I’d wear in the ’90s, with everything. I love a white shoe, it’s a bold statement.

What is your earliest fashion memory?
My earliest fashion memory is of my father polishing his shoes. He was a Marine so that’s where his habit of polishing his shoes every night when he came home stemmed from. I remember being in my night gown and smelling the polish and watching the care he took over these items he cherished, it was an important lesson.

This shoot was inspired by a road trip—have you been on a memorable road trip?
One of my favorite road trips I took with my friend Tara Subkoff, her parents had given her their old car and we were driving it from Connecticut to Los Angeles. We had to rush because I was nominated for an Oscar and we had to make it in time. It was my first time seeing the Southwest of America and I was awestruck by the scope and beauty.
