Here’s something we didn’t know we needed until now…Roberto Cavalli tells Vogue UK that his autobiography will be released in October. “In a few months, you will know everything,” Cavalli told the mag. “I don’t know why I decided to do it. I guess I had something to write. It doesn’t really talk about fashion though, it talks about me and my life.” Color us intrigued.

Does anything beat a man in a tux? Neil Patrick Harris opened the epic Tony Awards show last night at Radio City Music Hall in a charcoal wool two-button peak lapel tuxedo from Calvin Klein Collection. It’s our preferred look when we’re dangling from jumbo Tony Awards. As for NPH’s hosting skills? Another score. His take on “Empire State of Mind” with Audra McDonald at the end was brillz.

If we can indulge you in thinking about winter for just a second…New York artist Collier Schorr shot Brioni’s Fall/Winter campaign in Rigi, high above the Swiss lakes, historically known as the Queen of the Mountains. Schoor has some high praise for creative director Brendan Mullane who debuts his first collection for the brand: “When I met Brendan, it was as if a fully-formed genius had arrived on my doorstep,” he explains.

Looking for an equally salacious and hilarious way to spend an hour and a half? Pedro Almodovar is your man, and his latest flick, I’m So Excited! (yes, that was an intentional exclamation point, not just Daily-ese), is your must-see. The Cinema Society hosted a screening of the riotous yet politically mulling film, along with Girard-Perregaux and DeLeón, at Landmark Sunshine Cinemas. The film’s castmates Blanca Suarez, Miguel Angel Silvestre and Carlos Areces were on hand, though, alas, Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas, whose cameos take up all of two or so minutes at the very beginning of the movie, did not make it. No worries! According to Almodovar, Suarez is the next Cruz. Duly noted.

Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved Choupette and Linda Evangelista grace the cover of German Vogue’s July issue, shot by the Kaiser himself. The cover comes fresh off of the recent revelation to CNN that he’d marry the now-famous cat if he could. “You know, there is no marriage yet for human beings and animals. I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat.â€

Couture shows? Ain’t nobody got time for that. At least Riccardo Tisci doesn’t this season. The brand’s creative director is once again skipping the Paris Couture shows due to his busy schedule. One bonus of Tisci getting a little more time on his hands is the news that Givenchy will be reviving their wristwatch collection, which was discontinued in 2009. Gotta stay on track of that busy schedule somehow.

Sarah Jessica Parker is partnering with longtime Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus to launch a serious shoe collection that will include bags and a few trenches to be sold exclusively at Nordstrom early next year. “Because I got to play that role (Carrie Bradshaw), I wore a lot of shoes,†Parker tells Vogue. “and by default I learned an enormous amount. It’s hard toâ€â€”no pun intended—“walk away from that.â€

How exciting! Marc Jacobs enjoyed a little popcorn and the company of Rose Byrne at last night’s Cinema Society and DeLeon screening of I’m So Excited at Sunshine Landmark Cinemas. Nice to see a tanned and rested-looking MJ giving himself a little break at the movies.
